The short version
Holohound is a tool for tracking your own trading cards. The prices it shows are information, not advice, and they can be wrong. Decisions about buying, selling, grading or insuring your cards are yours.
Who provides Holohound
Holohound is provided by HyperSage AI Labs LLC ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms.
If you get the iPhone app from the App Store, it is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms sit alongside it. Apple is not responsible for Holohound or its support; questions about the app come to us.
Prices are estimates, not valuations
Prices come from a different feed for each game — TCGplayer via TCGdex for Pokémon, TCGplayer via Scryfall for Magic, YGOPRODeck for Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcast for Lorcana, and no feed at all for Gundam, where the app shows no price rather than inventing one. Each is named on the card it prices, and each is a snapshot of a market that moves. They are not an appraisal, not an offer, and not a guarantee that a card can be bought or sold at that figure. Sold-price history and graded prices come from a separate sold-listings feed and are not guaranteed to be available for any card; where they are not connected or do not cover a card, the app says so on the screen rather than substituting a number it does not have.
Graded cards
Only PSA, BGS, CGC and other grading companies can grade a card. Where a card is already graded, the app shows the grade printed on the case and does not second-guess it.
Selling and fees
Where the app calculates what you would net from a sale, those figures use published marketplace fee schedules and exclude postage, packaging, sales tax and any advertising rate you opt into. Holohound does not list, sell, or take custody of your cards, and does not handle your money.
Your content
Your collection is yours. It is stored on your device, we do not claim any rights over it, and you can export it to CSV at any time without paying.
Holohound Pro (auto-renewing subscription)
Scanning, your binder, your want list and CSV export are free and unmetered, with or without a subscription. Holohound Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription in the iPhone app; if you subscribe, it is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. It raises Hound, the AI companion, from 3 messages a day to 400. Sold comparisons and graded-price feeds are not included in Pro.
- Plans and prices. Holohound Pro Monthly is $9.99 per month and Holohound Pro Annual is $59.99 per year, in US dollars. Outside the United States the price is shown in your local currency. The price and billing period are always shown on the purchase screen before you confirm.
- Free trial. The annual plan comes with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The purchase screen offers the trial only when your Apple ID is eligible for it. If a trial is not cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts and the annual price is charged. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple ID account settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Restoring. Your subscription belongs to your Apple ID, not to a Holohound account — there isn't one. On a new or reinstalled phone, open Holohound Pro (Profile → See Holohound Pro) and tap Restore Purchases at the top of that screen.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Trading-card rights
Pokémon and all related names, card text and card imagery are trademarks and copyrighted works of The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK inc. Magic: The Gathering is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast; Yu-Gi-Oh! of Konami; Disney Lorcana of Disney and Ravensburger; and Gundam of Bandai. Holohound is an independent, unofficial app and is not produced, endorsed, supported, licensed by, or associated with any of them, nor with TCGplayer, Cardmarket, TCGdex, Scryfall, YGOPRODeck, Lorcast or gcg-api. Card names and images are used to identify the cards you own. Rights holders can reach us at support@hypersage.ai.
Acceptable use
Don't use Holohound to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to scrape or resell the data it displays.
No warranty, and the limit of our liability
Holohound is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make using it — including a sale, a purchase, a grading submission, or an insurance valuation. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
