When you write, it helps to include your iOS version, the app version from Profile → About & legal, and — if a card is involved — its name and set. A screenshot is worth several paragraphs.
Common questions
Is scanning limited?
No. Scanning is unlimited and free, with no daily cap and no account. Messages to Hound, the AI companion, are metered: 3 a day free, or 400 a day with Holohound Pro. The app shows how many you have used and when they reset.
Why does a price look wrong?
Prices come from a different feed for each game — TCGplayer via TCGdex for Pokémon, TCGplayer via Scryfall for Magic, YGOPRODeck for Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcast for Lorcana, and none at all for Gundam — and the card names its own. A market price is not the same as a sale price, so the card report also shows the cheapest current listing and the middle of the listings, so you can see the spread. Sold-price history comes from a separate sold-listings feed, which isn't always connected and doesn't cover every card; where the app can't show it for a card, it says so rather than showing you a market price labelled as a sale.
How do I get my collection out?
In the iPhone app, Profile → Export collection (CSV). It is free, it needs no subscription, and the file is yours.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Your collection is stored on your device, so removing the app removes all of it, and there is no account to close and no server copy of your collection to request. Our own server holds daily counts of Hound messages and sold-price lookups, keyed to a random per-install id and to IP address, and — if you subscribe to Pro — a hashed record of which installs use your subscription; an install stops counting toward it after 30 days without use. None of these has an automatic deletion date yet, so email us to ask for removal. The privacy policy lists all of it. If you subscribed, deleting the app does not cancel Holohound Pro; cancel that in your Apple ID settings (see below).
Does my collection move to a new phone?
Not yet. This version has no backup, so your collection lives only on the phone that recorded it. Until backup arrives, export a CSV now and then to keep a copy.
Restoring Holohound Pro
If you subscribe, Holohound Pro is tied to your Apple ID, not to a Holohound account — there isn't one. On a new or reinstalled phone signed in to the same Apple ID, open Profile → See Holohound Pro (or tap the Hound message counter) and tap Restore Purchases at the top of the Holohound Pro screen.
Cancelling Holohound Pro, or asking for a refund
If you subscribe, Holohound Pro renews automatically until you cancel it. To stop the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, in your Apple ID's subscription settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions); you keep Pro until the period you have paid for ends. Apple handles billing and refunds, so a refund request goes to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The full subscription terms are in the Terms of Use.
Report a bug or a wrong card
If a card is identified wrongly, or a set is missing printings, tell us the card and set at support@hypersage.ai. Card data comes from the catalogue for that game — TCGdex for Pokémon, Scryfall for Magic, YGOPRODeck for Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcast for Lorcana, gcg-api for Gundam — and corrections made there flow back into the app.
