The AI request takes 5–15 seconds per turn (longer for the per-turn illustration). If it sits there for over 60 seconds, force-quit the app and tap the same choice again — your progress is saved.
Profile → Upgrade → Restore Purchases. If your Apple ID has an active StoryVault Pro subscription, it'll re-link in seconds.
New readers get 10 AI Adventure turns free, enough to play one story through to an ending. It is a one-time welcome, not a monthly allowance, so it does not refill — continuing with AI turns after that needs StoryVault Pro, which raises the allowance to 3,000 turns a month. Reading the bundled classics is always free and unlimited.
Inside any chapter, tap the Aa icon in the top-right toolbar. Adjustments persist across all books.

If you're evaluating StoryVault AI for a publication, classroom, or library — or want a Pro review code — drop a line at support@hypersage.ai. The bundled library is all public-domain and the AI Adventure system prompt explicitly excludes explicit sexual content and any content that sexualizes minors. The App Store rating is 13+, set by the community Tales feed rather than by the reading material.
Where the data goes
The full data flow is in our privacy policy — short version: your story input goes to Anthropic's Claude to be written (OpenAI is the failover, and paints the scenes) and isn't stored, your saved adventures live on your device, no account needed to read or play, no ads, no tracking.
