Support

A single developer reads every email. You'll get a real reply, usually within a day or two.

Having a medical emergency? Don't type — call 911. Rowan is not an emergency service and is not monitored by a human. In the US, call 911 for a medical emergency, or call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) if you're thinking about harming yourself. Outside the US, call your local emergency number. Never delay care because of something in this app.

Quick help

Rowan isn't replying

Replies are generated live and usually take a few seconds. If it hangs for more than a minute, check your connection, then close and reopen the app — your conversation is saved, so nothing you logged is lost.

Rowan logged something wrong

Open the entry and edit it — severity, the factor, and the date are all editable, and anything Rowan remembers about you can be corrected or cleared from the "You" screen. Correcting it also corrects what shows up in your trends and visit brief.

Does Rowan read Apple Health?

No — Rowan doesn't read Apple Health or your iPhone medication list. Everything it knows is something you told it, which is also why you can see and correct all of it from the "You" screen.

A medication reminder didn't fire

Reminders need notification permission: iOS Settings → Rowan → Notifications. Rowan only reminds you about medications you entered, on the schedule you set — it never suggests a dose or a change.

Delete or export everything

"Delete all my data" in the app erases your on-device record — including the notes Rowan keeps about you, which our server never files, though your phone does send them with each message — and purges your conversations, symptom logs, safety events and usage counters from our server, returning a per-table receipt. The Export button writes a JSON file of what's on your phone and of the rows we hold on our server, in one file. Details in the privacy policy.

Found a bug?

Email support@hypersage.ai with what you saw and what you were doing. Screenshots help — please crop out anything private from your health record first.

Billing and subscriptions

Rowan is free to use, with conversation capped at 5 messages a day. Rowan Plus is an optional subscription that lifts that cap and answers with a more capable model. Apple handles billing: refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com, and you manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Safety and emergency features are never behind a payment. If something looks wrong on our side, email us and we'll sort it out.

For clinicians, reviewers & press

If you're a clinician, a reviewer, or a journalist evaluating Rowan, reach out at support@hypersage.ai. Rowan is a general-wellness record-keeping companion — not a diagnosis engine, not a treatment adviser, and not a medical device — with prominent disclaimers, a persistent "AI companion · not a clinician" indicator, an independent safety layer that is never metered, and a documented list of things the product refuses to do.

Where your data goes

The full data flow is in our privacy policy. Short version: there's no account, no ads, and no analytics on your health content — but your messages do go to our backend and on to an AI provider so Rowan can reply, and your log is stored on our server, keyed only to a random device identifier. Everything has a retention limit, and one tap deletes it.
