Ask what you're missing from a set or what a card is really worth. Hound answers from your own collection and live market prices.
Every feature here answers a complaint we found in one- and two-star reviews of other card apps.
Ask what your binder is worth, or how close you are to finishing a set. Attach a photo to ask about a card. When Hound quotes a price, it names the source.
No daily cap, no lifetime cap, no account. Cards are recognized on your iPhone, so nothing the camera sees while you scan leaves it.
Every price names the feed that supplied it, right on the card. For Pokémon you also see the cheapest listing, the mid price and Cardmarket's prices in euro.
Every set you've started, across all five games, shows what you hold and what's still missing.
Holohound sends no notifications and never hurries you. Open it when you feel like it.
From Home to Hound.

Point the camera. Recognition runs on-device.

Every price sourced. Every market named.

Scanning, your binder, your wishlist and CSV export are free, with no limits. Hound is free for 3 messages a day; Pro raises that to 400.
Prices in US dollars; the purchase screen shows the price in your currency before you buy. If you subscribe, payment is charged to your Apple ID. Pro renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Restore Purchases works without a Holohound account, because there isn't one. Subscription terms

Yes. No daily cap, no lifetime cap, no account. We've committed to keeping scanning free and unlimited.
Five: Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana and Gundam, all in one binder. The scanner reads English Pokémon and Magic cards, plus Japanese Pokémon from the Sun & Moon era (2017) onward. You add cards from the other three games by search. Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Lorcana cards carry prices; Gundam has no price feed yet.
Not yet. Each card in a set counts once, whatever its finish.
No. There's no sign-in anywhere in the app. Your collection lives on your device, and CSV export is free if you want a copy of your own.
Hound is the AI companion inside Holohound. Ask it about your cards and sets, and it answers from your own collection and names its sources. Its replies are written by Anthropic's AI model. Everyone gets 3 messages a day; Holohound Pro raises that to 400.
Your message, any photo you attach, the last few messages of that conversation, and the details of the cards relevant to your question, not your whole binder. They go to our server and on to Anthropic, whose model writes the reply. No account is created; the app sends a random per-install id so the daily message allowance can be counted, and a Pro subscriber's app also sends Apple's signed record of the subscription. The privacy policy lists it in full.
No. Holohound is independent and unofficial, and is not produced, endorsed or licensed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Disney, Ravensburger, Bandai or Sotsu/Sunrise — see the disclosure above.
If you subscribe, Pro belongs to your Apple ID. Cancel it in your Apple ID's subscription settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). On a new phone, open Profile → See Holohound Pro in the app and tap Restore Purchases. The support page has the details, and we answer email.
