Something wrong in the crypt? This page covers the questions that come up most often with Hexhunter. If none of it helps, write to us — a real person reads every message.

Contact: support@hypersage.ai — email is our only support channel. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, and the app version from Settings → About and we can help far faster.

Requirements

Hexhunter is an iPhone game and requires iOS 17 or later. It plays in portrait only, one-thumb. It runs fully offline — you do not need a network connection to play.

The game won't launch, freezes, or crashes

Work through these in order — the first two fix the large majority of reports:

Still stuck? Email us with your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and what you were doing when it happened. If it crashes reliably at a particular moment — a specific hero, stage, or boss — say which, since that is usually enough for us to reproduce it.

No sound, or too much rumble

Open Settings (the gear icon on the home screen, or from the in-run pause menu) and check the Sound & Feel section. Sound effects, music, and haptics each have their own switch. If those are all on and you still hear nothing, check your iPhone's ringer switch and volume, and that no other app has taken over audio playback.

The game is too hard, or the aiming feels wrong

The Gameplay section of Settings has the knobs people usually want:

Restoring purchases

Hexhunter's in-app purchases are one-time unlocks — there are no subscriptions and nothing that expires. Because they are permanent, they can be restored on any iPhone signed in to the same Apple ID.

If a purchase still doesn't appear after a restore, email us with the date of purchase and we'll help you work through it with Apple.

Refunds and billing

All payments for Hexhunter are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details, we cannot look up your receipts, and we cannot issue refunds ourselves.

Game Center

Game Center is optional — the whole game is playable without it. Signing in lets Hexhunter submit your survival times and kill counts to its leaderboards.

I lost my progress

Hexhunter has no account and no cloud save. Essence, unlocked heroes and stages, relics, best times and settings are stored on your device only, in the app's own storage. That means:

Reporting a bug or asking for a feature

Email support@hypersage.ai. The most useful reports include:

Feature requests are welcome too. We can't promise anything ships, but they are read.

Where your data goes

Nowhere we control. Hexhunter has no account of ours, no tracking, and no server of ours — the app makes no network calls of its own, and there are no analytics or advertising SDKs in it. Everything you do in the game stays in the app's storage on your iPhone.

The two exceptions both belong to Apple, not to us: Game Center handles leaderboard scores if you choose to sign in, and StoreKit handles purchases and restores. Both are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive your Apple ID or payment details.

The full details are in the Privacy Policy, and the rules for using the app are in the Terms of Use.
