Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Thank you for playing Hexhunter. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information the app does — and does not — collect. In short: Hexhunter does not collect, store, or share any personal information.

The short version: No account. No personal data collected. No tracking or ad SDKs. Your progress stays on your device.

The short version

Data stored on your device

Your essence balance, relic levels, and the record of any one-time Starter Pack bonus are saved together in a local JSON file, written atomically so they update together; hunter mastery seals and crests are kept in a second local file the same way. Other progress and preferences, including unlocked heroes and stages, best survival times, earned achievements, and gameplay/sound settings, use the device's standard app storage (UserDefaults). All of this progression stays on your device: there is no cloud save and no copy sent to a HyperSage server. Deleting the app removes its local save; Apple's optional services below have separate purchase and achievement restore paths.

Game Center (optional)

If you choose to sign in to Game Center (Apple's gaming service), Hexhunter can submit your survival-time and kill scores to leaderboards and sync 33 supported achievements. The Silas trophy, The Last Pilgrim, is stored only on your device and is not sent to Game Center. This is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without it. Any data handled through Game Center is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy), not this one. Hexhunter does not receive your Apple ID or personal account details.

In-app purchases

Hexhunter sells one optional in-app purchase today: Unlock All. An earlier Starter Pack is no longer offered, but anyone who bought it keeps it and can restore it like any other purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information, credit card number, or billing address. Purchase and restore transactions are handled by Apple's StoreKit framework.

Advertising

Hexhunter does not display third-party advertisements and does not include any advertising or tracking SDKs. If advertising is added in a future update, this policy will be updated first and any ad partners disclosed here.

Children's privacy

Hexhunter does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because the app collects no personal data at all, there is nothing about a player for us to hold. The game does contain fantasy violence; its App Store age rating is set by Apple from our content questionnaire.

This website

These pages at hypersage.ai/hexhunter/ are covered by the HyperSage AI Labs website privacy policy: no cookies and no identifiers, only anonymous daily totals of page views and App Store button taps. Nothing the website counts is connected to the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
