Help with Wingmate for iPhone. Last updated: August 24, 2026

Contact Us

Email support@hypersage.ai and we'll get back to you. It helps if you include your iPhone model, your iOS version, the Wingmate version from Settings → About → Version, and what you were doing when the problem happened.

Please don't send passwords, payment details, or screenshots of other people's private conversations — we don't need any of them to help you.

What Wingmate Is

Wingmate is an AI dating coach, not a dating app. There is no matching, no profiles, no messaging between users, and no way for anyone else to see you or contact you through the app. You chat with one of four coaches — Marcus, Jade, Eli, or Ava — about conversations you're having somewhere else, and you can share screenshots of those conversations to get them read back to you. Wingmate requires iOS 17 or later and is designed for iPhone.

There is no account and no sign-in. Nothing to reset, and no password to lose.

If a Coach Won't Reply

Coach replies are generated on our server and streamed back to your phone, so a reply needs a working internet connection. If a message fails or a reply stops partway:

"You've Reached Today's Free Messages"

Coaching messages are limited per day, per device. The free allowance is 3 coaching messages a day. Wingmate Plus raises that to 60 a day. The allowance resets at midnight UTC — you don't have to do anything, and nothing is lost while you wait.

Wingmate Plus

Wingmate Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or annually, purchased through the App Store. Prices are shown in your local currency on the upgrade screen inside the app.

Plus raises the daily allowances. It locks nothing. Coaching messages go from 3 a day to 60. Read-aloud and coach memory run on a separate daily allowance — one that Plus also raises, and that never spends a coaching message. All four coaches, screenshot coaching, saved openers, connections, and date planning are available on the free tier too. We'd rather tell you that up front than sell you something the app doesn't do.

Restoring a Purchase

If you've paid and Plus isn't showing as active — after reinstalling, or on a new iPhone — open Settings → Wingmate Plus → Restore purchases in the app. This re-checks the Apple ID signed in on the device and re-activates the subscription if one is found.

Because there's no account, your subscription follows your Apple ID, not a login. Your conversations and connections do not transfer to a new phone with it — see "Your Data" below.

Cancelling, Refunds and Billing

All payments for Wingmate are handled by Apple. We never see your card and we cannot issue a refund ourselves.

If Apple has taken your money and Plus still isn't working in the app after a restore, email us — that part we can help with.

Screenshots and the Microphone

You can attach a conversation screenshot from your photo library, or paste one straight into the message box. If the photo picker or the microphone button doesn't respond, check the permissions iOS is holding for the app in iOS Settings → Wingmate (Photos, Camera, Microphone, Speech Recognition).

Your Data

This section is a plain-language summary of the Privacy Policy. If the two ever disagree, the Privacy Policy is authoritative.

Deleting Your Data

Because there's no account, there's no server-side profile to delete — deleting on your device is the whole job.

Deleting the app also means there is no backup we can restore for you, so export or copy anything you want to keep first.

Advice, Safety and Limits

Coaching replies are generated by AI and are for entertainment and informational purposes. They can be wrong, and they are not a substitute for professional relationship counselling. Wingmate is intended for users 17 and older. If you're in crisis or in danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line rather than an app.
