Built for collectors and tacticians

Fast duels, deep deckbuilding, and a cast drawn from the greatest stories ever told.

Six Factions

Gothic drains, Mythic overpowers, Wonderland tricks, Detective outsmarts, Sea destroys, Folklore multiplies. Pick a banner and master its rhythm.

A Cast of 256

Most cards are legends from classic literature and myth — Dracula, Sherlock, Athena, Alice, Ahab, Beowulf. Each ability is drawn from its source: Hyde transforms at end of turn, Cheshire vanishes to another lane.

AI Card Forge

Describe a character in one line — "a one-eyed lighthouse keeper who commands ravens" — and the Forge paints the art, balances the stats, and writes the ability. It joins your collection, yours to play. Forging is part of Mythwright Pro: it needs an account, a subscription, and a daily allowance of forges.

Campaign, Ranked & Practice

Fight literary boss decks for legendary unlocks, climb the seasonal cube ladder from Recruit to Infinite, or test new decks against the AI. Daily missions keep the collection growing.

Win the war across three lanes

Six turns. Both sides stage face-down, then reveal at once. Best two of three lanes takes the match.

Three lanes, one cube at stake — locations like Castle Dracula and the Styx twist the rules.

I

Stage

Commit cards face-down to any lane. Locations twist the rules — Castle Dracula buffs Gothic, the Styx destroys its lane on turn six.

II

Reveal

Both sides flip at once. On-reveal abilities cascade, powers stack, and lane scores swing.

III

Wager

Every match starts at one cube. Confident? Wager to double the stakes. Outmatched? Yield and cut your losses.

Six turns of stage and reveal, one cube at stake — best two of three lanes takes the match.

Choose your banner

Sea

Deep control & area destruction. Ahab, Moby Dick, the Kraken.

Common questions

The short, honest answers.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes. Mythwright is an online game — every match is resolved on our server, including Practice against the AI, so there's no offline mode. That's also what makes asynchronous PvP, the seasonal ladder, and a collection that follows your account possible.

Do I need an account?

Not to start. Practice works as a guest, with no sign-up at all. Ranked, Campaign, and Conquest ask you to sign in — with Apple or Google, no password to invent — and signing in upgrades your guest profile in place, so nothing you've collected is lost. Signing in shares your email address with us; the privacy policy says exactly what we hold.

Is it pay-to-win?

The cards aren't for sale. There are no card packs bought with money, no loot boxes, and no consumable purchases — credits are earned by playing and spent in the shop. The one purchase is Mythwright Pro, an optional subscription that unlocks the AI Card Forge, Conquest mode, variant forging, and the premium season track; its price is shown in the app. Ranked, the campaign, deck building, and daily missions are all free.

Am I playing real people?

In Ranked, yes — matchmaking pairs you with a player near your cube level, and matches are asynchronous, so you're never waiting on a live clock. If no opponent is in the queue, a bot steps in after a few seconds so you can keep playing.

Is the game itself AI?

The duel isn't — matches run on a deterministic rules engine, and no model ever decides a reveal. AI appears in one place: the Pro Card Forge, where a model writes your described card's stats and ability and paints its art, with prompts moderated before anything is generated. The bundled card portraits were AI-painted during development and ship as fixed art.

When can I play it?

Soon. Mythwright is coming to iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 or later) and isn't on the App Store yet. Email support@hypersage.ai to be told the day it goes live.
