Is this the real Hoardling?

It's an earlier fork of it, rendered in real-time 3D instead of painted 2D. The defense works the same way, but the fork has less in it than today's Hoardling: three campaign keeps instead of four, seven machines instead of eight, eight kinds of raider instead of ten, and no Duels or Your Cavern. It keeps the Forge, trials and Daily Siege, and its save is separate from the main game's. It's an in-progress experiment, rougher than the finished build. Play Hoardling for the version we consider finished.

I lost my progress.

Campaign stars, Forge, trials, and your Daily best are all stored in your browser's local storage, on that one device, separately from the main Hoardling game's save. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser, or switching phones starts a fresh save — there is no account to sign back into and no cloud backup.

Is Hoardling 3D free? Is there anything to buy?

Yes, it's free, and there is nothing to buy in this build — no purchases, no subscriptions, no ads.

Is there a leaderboard?

Not in this build. Hoardling 3D used to post Daily Siege scores to a board of its own; since 13 September 2026 it has no leaderboard and sends nothing about your play anywhere. The main Hoardling game has an optional Daily Siege leaderboard that it asks about before posting anything.

Something looks visually broken (a stretched raider, a black gap, a camera glitch).

That's expected more often here than in the main game — this build is an active 3D rendering experiment. Tell us what you saw, on what device, and roughly where on the map, and we'll take a look.
