Hoardling

A real person reads this mailbox. support@hypersage.ai

When you write in, it helps to say what device and browser you're on (or whether you added Hoardling to your Home Screen), and what you were doing when it happened — which level, which trial, or which wave of Daily Siege. A screenshot is worth several paragraphs.

Common questions

I lost my progress.

Campaign stars, Forge, trials, and your Daily best are all stored in your browser's local storage, on that one device. Clearing your browser data, using a different browser, or switching phones starts a fresh save — there is no account to sign back into and no cloud backup yet. This is the game's biggest known rough edge and we're sorry about it.

Is Hoardling free? Is there anything to buy?

Yes, it's free, and there is nothing to buy in this build — no purchases, no subscriptions, no ads.

Why don't I have a leaderboard name?

You do — it's generated automatically the first time you post a Daily Siege score, in the shape WICK-XXXX. There's no name field to fill in.

How do I stop my Daily Siege scores being posted?

At the end of a Daily Siege run, the results screen shows a line reading "posting as WICK-XXXX — tap to stop". Tap it and no further run is posted; it then reads "not posting — tap to join the ladder" and tapping again turns posting back on. Being honest about the order: posting is on by default and that line only appears once a run has ended, so your first Daily Siege score is already posted by the time you first see it, and a posted score can't be removed. See the Privacy page for what a score row actually contains. Campaign and Duel runs are never posted.

My Daily Siege score didn't show up on the board.

If you were offline or the connection dropped, the app keeps trying quietly for about an hour before giving up on that one submission. If it's still missing after that, tell us the wave you reached and roughly when, and we'll check the board.

What's the difference between Hoardling and Hoardling 3D?

They're the same defend-the-hoard game. Hoardling 3D is a separate, experimental build with a real-time 3D renderer instead of the painted 2D one — it's rougher, and it's not the version we consider finished. Your campaign progress in each is kept separate.

The game feels slow, laggy, or won't load.

Hoardling runs entirely in your browser with no install. Closing other heavy browser tabs usually helps, and a fresh page load can clear a stuck asset download. If it keeps happening, tell us your device and browser and we'll dig in.
